Eons ago, everything was connected. Magic and science ran rampant across the only universe in existence - the one called Fantasia. Everyone got along. All was well. After centuries of peace, the creatures of Fantasia began to feel a presence. This feeling drove them to fight, to go to war with one another. Evil had surfaced, and the formerly placid souls of Fantasia had no idea where to turn. A panel met in secret, a panel consisting of representatives from each of the numerous races and kingdoms. These representatives were extraordinarily talented in their own ways, and the panel decided to break each of the kingdoms apart from the others, as parallel universes that never should touch. Should even two connect, evil could spread and war could begin again. One panel member was unhappy with the choice for no apparent reason, and on the day the universes were supposed to split, stood in the direct center of Fantasia, preparing to hold the universes together. As the act of splitting occurred, something happened to the member, for she disappeared, leaving an infinitely long tower carved with wishes and curses for the future in her place. The universes each took on their own character, falling towards a more fantastical aspect or a more scientific one. Soon, not even those who resided in the tiny remnant of Fantasia that remained knew of the true history of the universes. Now, one spirit trapped in a stone prison has awakened, finding an ally in a young Fantasian. That lone panel member's wishes have come true - through a series of events too long and too "impossible" to describe, each of the universes have collided, combining to create the realm of Fantasia once again. The souls of those long gone are being called back to the tower, though only a select few can see them. Those who thought they were ordinary are becoming something more. Magic, myth, and legend are returning. Is this fantasy? Is this science-fiction? This is reality. This is war. Where do you stand?
Every forum needs rules. Otherwise, people complain, things get out of hand, and then POOF! The admin (meaning me) is unable to keep up. Then another POOF! The forum no longer exists.

This forum is PG-13. I don't care if your canon is, but this forum is. This means no swearing and no suggestive material.

Please use yellow for OOC in role-play posts. Please keep actions and dialogue separate colors. I would love you forever if you used the default color for dialogue.
No post in a role-play thread may be entirely OOC.
Please do not knock other series/customs/religions/people. Everyone has the right to their own beliefs and series in a crossover forum such as this one.
Playful teasing is allowed as long as I can tell that it is playful.
RPers are allowed to talk for each other, but do not under any circumstances godmod or powerplay.
If, during the course of a roleplay, you desire to maim, injure, kill, or change species of another character (that means you, radioactive spiders and vampires!); or be maimed, killed, or have your own species changed, you must have the permission of the other character and the ENTIRE staff. This staff permission is easy to obtain - just PM one of us and we'll pass it on to the others using that board that only we can see (because we're special.)
Please respect the staffies. We don't get paid enough to deal with disrespect. (Actually, we don't get paid at all.)
That being said, do not PM a staffie to ask if you can become one. We'll let everyone know when a position is open.
There is to be at least one staffie per universe/canon.

Sure, we are dealing with superhumans at some levels, but please make posts realistic. Nobody can come back from the dead unless I decree as such.
If you are killed, your status will be automatically changed to "ghost." You will become a ghost, and be able to post in the ghost board.
If you are going to be absent for a period of time, tell us on the absences board.
I have the power to change these rules at any time.
Break a rule, you get a warning.
Three warnings, and you are banned. No question about it.
